In Progress

ICHOM is developing a Set of Patient-Centered Outcomes Measures for Major Injuries. This endeavour seeks to bring forth groundbreaking improvements in how major injury outcomes are measured and evaluated, ultimately enhancing patient care globally.

The ICHOM Major Injury Working Group (WG) has now proposed a minimum set of health outcomes that matter to people with lived experience. These outcomes aim to improve how healthcare is delivered to patients undergoing major injury care.

We invite major injury experts, both patients and professionals, to provide their views on the relevance of the proposal in brief surveys that will remain open until March 28th. Your feedback will help share the WG’s final recommendations.

If you have lived experience of major injuries, we invite you to complete the survey here. This is approved for distribution exclusively among adults in the UK, US, Australia, New Zealand, and the Netherlands.

If you are a professional working with patients with major injuries in any country, please complete the survey here.

For any questions about the ICHOM Majory Injury Set or Patient Validation Survey, please reach out to ICHOM Project Manager, Umanga de Silva, at u.desilva@ichom.org.
