The Alliance for Person-Centered Care (the Alliance) is a group of stakeholders with a common interest in developing consensus proposals for incorporating person-centered care and the use of performance measures based on patient-reported data in clinical care and quality programs.
The Alliance represents diverse stakeholders from across the health care sector committed to ensuring the health care system measures quality care based on people’s voices and experiences. They envision a health care future where quality measurement drives better communication between health care providers and the people they serve, promotes shared decision-making, reduces costs, and focuses on what matters most to the individuals receiving care. Their commitment is to pragmatic solutions that resonate with and positively impact patient health.
