Benoit Arnould, Divisional Principal, Lyon (France) – 25 years in the Pharmaceutical Industry and CRO
In the recent years, Benoit has been leading the Mapi Global Patient-Centered Outcomes research team, which is now part of ICON PCO.
Benoit has been conducting studies to develop and validate Patient-Reported Outcomes and other Clinical Outcomes Assessment instruments for two decades, measuring a large variety of concepts including Health- Related Quality of Life, Function, Symptoms, Satisfaction, Adherence and Acceptance.
He has experience in a wide variety of common conditions and rare diseases, including ophthalmologic diseases, urinary disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, COPD, depression, neuropathic pain, erectile dysfunction, metabolic disorders, infectious diseases, and cancer. In recent years, he has increasingly been asked by industry clients to assist in their endpoint strategy definition. His current primary interest is Mixed Methods Research.
Benoit is author of 2 book chapters, reviewer for more than 10 journals, and co-author of more than 50 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals
Benoit holds an MSc in Agriculture engineering and life sciences with a specialty in statistics. He is a Health Economics graduate and has completed his PhD on tools for clinical decision making.
